Thank you for your question regarding roaming during your stay in Europe.

With your Simpel subscription, you can use the Roam Like at Home regulation within the EU. This means that in countries such as Italy you can call, text, and use data at the same rates as in the Netherlands. There are no additional roaming charges, and you do not need to purchase a new SIM card.

Please note that a fair use policy applies. Roaming is intended for temporary use while traveling. If a SIM card is used for a longer period (for example, several months) continuously abroad, Simpel may check whether the usage mainly takes place outside the Netherlands. In such cases, extra charges may apply or you may be advised to use a local SIM card.

In practice, this means you can continue to use your current SIM card during your 6‑month stay in Italy. However, keep in mind that Simpel may apply additional conditions if you remain abroad for an extended period.
