I have move abroad and cancelled contract

I have cancelled the subscription contract as I have moved abroad. The email says it will officially end in February 2026, but I won't have an active bank account after this month. Is there a way I can pay early for the remaining months and terminate my SIM?

I don't want to keep the number.

Thank you for your message. We understand that you’d like to end your subscription early due to emigration and pay the remaining contract amount in one go.

Although your contract officially runs until February 2026, in exceptional cases such as moving abroad and there may be a possibility to terminate the contract free of charge. To be eligible, you’ll need to provide valid proof of emigration, such as a deregistration certificate from your municipality or a registration document from a foreign authority.

We kindly ask you to submit the following via our contact form:

Your customer number or the phone number linked to your subscription

A brief explanation of your situation

A statement that you do not wish to keep the number

A proof of emigration

Once we receive this information, we’ll review your request and get back to you with the next steps.

I followed your instructions and received a termination date now for nov 2025. 

I hope I won't be charged after the termination date and can discard my sim as I will no longer have a bank account after November and don't want any connection to simple or the number. I do not want to retain it.

I just wanted clarity as the statement in your email confuses me "After your subscription is canceled, you may still receive an invoice. For example, if you incurred charges outside your bundle or if you have a ceiling enabled” . What does this mean? because I can not make any bank transactions after November and hope that my previous sim only subscription of 4.13 euros per month with all services permanently properly close and does not ever continue so I can cut my sim and discard it. I will no longer be a customer.

To clarify: once your subscription officially ends, no further monthly charges will apply. You may safely discard your SIM card, and no additional action is required on your part.

The sentence in our previous email, “After your subscription is cancelled, you may still receive an invoice. For example, if you incurred charges outside your bundle or if you have a ceiling enabled”, refers to rare situations where extra costs were incurred before the termination date. These could include:

  • Usage outside your bundle (e.g., extra calls or data)

  • A cost ceiling that allowed additional usage beyond your standard plan

If your SIM-only subscription of €4.13 per month was used within the bundle and no extra charges were made, you should not expect any further invoices after cancellation.
